Dog Day is a fundraiser and craft fair supporting Have A Heart Animal Welfare Fund, a volunteer-run nonprofit right here in Kerhonkson.
A Fundraiser Event for
Have A Heart works directly with homeless and needy dogs throughout Ulster County by helping provide food, emergency medical care, spay and neuter services, and support for dogs living in low-income households. They also work closely with local animal control facilities to help abandoned dogs find loving homes.
Every dollar raised helps support the care of local animals.
We’ll be spending the day outside with live music on the backyard stage, local vendors, dog people, cold beer, and, yes, you can bring your friendly dog!

Not at all. Plenty of people come just to hang out, listen to music, grab a beer, support the fundraiser, and meet everyone else’s dogs.

Yep. Kids are welcome. Just keep an eye on them around dogs they don’t know.

We ask that all dogs:
• Remain leashed
• Be comfortable around people and other dogs
• Be cleaned up after

We’re working with local rescue and animal welfare organizations and will share participating groups as we get closer to the event.

Dog Day is rain or shine. We have indoor seating, the open-air dining room, and covered areas throughout the brewery. If we need to change the date due to weather, the rain date is June 28th.
